12 noon Community Good Friday Service, here in the Sanctuary
The ancient Greek understanding of the word “hour” is much older than breaking up the day into 24 hour segments. David Steindl-Rast says, “It is not a numerical measure; it is a soul measure.” This Good Friday, we will gather with gratitude and awe to receive those last soul measures of Jesus this side of death. These hours are not “clock time (chronos)” but a “timeless time” with God. Join us at 12pm as we pray together and re-member those last precious hours of our Savior. This worship service will last about one hour in clock time, but it will last in your heart a good, long, timeless time.
